During the party meeting, JP Nadda, the B.J.P Party President, mentioned that Rs 2500 aid for females in Delhi under the “Mahila Samriddhi Yojana” has been approved.
The Mahila Samriddhi Yojana provides monetary aid to women and was one of the critical declarations made during B.J.Ps Campaign in the comprising elections for the Delhi assembly.
For this year’s budget, Delhi’s Government has put aside a whopping Rs 5100 crores for the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana.
Rekha Gupta, the chief minister of Delhi stated, “We had cabinet decisions, and therefore we are moving the scheme formerly approved within the elections of 2500 aid for women. She continued, saying Rs 5100 has been assigned in the budget for the implementation of the scheme.
While speaking to the public, Gupta declared that the government of Delhi will turn out all its promises to guarantee their safety, wellbeing, and progress.
“We have tried to work in coordination with the central government in improving health, education, law and order and making Delhi safer… In the past 15 days, we have covered every single angle when it comes to improving women’s safety like adding more CCTV cameras, pink police booths, and many others,” she said.
“The problems women face will now be dealt with by setting up a ‘One Stop Centre’ in each district. All the pink toilets that are needed will be constructed throughout Delhi,” the Delhi Chief Minister said.
Atishi, a former chief minister of Delhi, said earlier today that women across Delhi are still expecting an installment of Rs 2,500 to be transferred to their accounts.
Atishi posted on X: “During the election campaign, Modi had committed to giving every woman Rs 2,500 by March 8, and till now, we have not recived it.”
