In a landmark achievement for Indian animation, the mythological epic 'Mahavatar Narasimha' has become the highest-grossing Indian animated film, amassing a remarkable ₹104.14 crore at the domestic box office. Released on July 25, 2025, the film has not only crossed the ₹100 crore mark but also shattered previous benchmarks for animated features in India, emerging as the first Hindi animated film to reach this milestone. 

Produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under Kleem Productions, and presented by Hombale Films, 'Mahavatar Narasimha' tells the timeless story of Lord Narasimha, Hiranyakashyap, and Prahlad. The film's success is attributed to its powerful storytelling, engaging visuals, and its ability to strike a deep emotional chord with a wide audience. Released in both 2D and 3D formats, and dubbed in five languages including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, the movie has resonated across various regions and language groups. Beyond its domestic success, the film's worldwide collection has surpassed ₹175 crore.  'Mahavatar Narasimha' is the first instalment in a planned seven-part series based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu.
