Lucknow: CCTV footage of the robbery in which 42 lockers were broken in Lucknow’s Indian Overseas Bank has surfaced. In this, it can be seen how the thieves entered the bank and carried out the robbery and they were wearing jackets with caps so that they could be protected from the cameras installed in the bank.

Actually, 42 lockers were broken into in the Indian Overseas Bank in Lucknow and the thieves stole goods worth crores. The police found gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs of rupees with Sobind Kumar, who was killed in an encounter in Lucknow today in connection with the theft.
Lucknow’s Joint Commissioner of Law and Order Amit Verma had told that the police found a bag in the car in which Sobindra was travelling, which contained gold jewellery worth about Rs. 3.5 crore, silver utensils worth lakhs of rupees and other precious stones. More than Rs. 9 lakh cash was also found in the bag. So far, two accused in this case have been killed in encounters and three accused have been arrested. The police have recovered gold jewellery worth about Rs. 5 crore, silver worth lakhs of rupees and about Rs. 12 lakh from them.
What did the police find from the thieves?
Police have recovered Rs 9 lakh cash from Sobind’s car. Apart from this, gold jewellery weighing more than four kilos, silver utensils were found and he was running away with other precious jewellery weighing ten kilos. Let us tell you that the looted items include 50 gold bracelets, 67 gold rings, 57 gold chains, 45 gold necklaces, 876 grams gold nose pin and ear tops, two gold lockets, three gold coins. The weight of these gold jewellery is 4.093 grams. Also, 169 silver coins have been found from Sobind. Apart from this, 6 silver plates, 6 silver bowls, 3 silver glasses, 5 silver spoons have been found. Apart from this, 16 different types of precious gems and other precious jewellery weighing about 10 kilos have been found.
Apart from this, cash worth Rs 9,17,606 has been recovered from Sobind’s car. Yesterday, police had arrested three accused in this case. Out of these, Arvind was injured in the encounter and Balram, Kailash Bind were arrested by the police. Police have recovered Rs 3 lakh cash, 2 kg gold jewellery worth nearly 1.75 crore rupees and silver worth lakhs of rupees from them. 14 gold necklaces, 78 gold rings, 249 gold tops and earrings, 30 gold bracelets, 13 gold chains have been recovered from them. Police says that most of the jewellery and cash stolen by breaking 42 lockers in Indian Overseas Bank has been recovered. There are a total of 7 accused in this case. Out of these, Sobind Kumar and Sunny have been killed in an encounter today. Sunny and Sobind had a police encounter in Ghazipur and Lucknow.
