Get ready for some laughs! Mom-to-be Kiara Advani recently teamed up with the one and only Shah Rukh Khan for a brand new commercial, and guess who was calling the shots? None other than the multi-talented director-choreographer Farah Khan. Adding to the fun, Farah, who's also been charming everyone with her popular food vlog featuring her Insta-famous cook Dilip, even roped him into the commercial as her on-set assistant.
The ad, directed by Farah herself, kicks off with the trio on a lavish set, supposedly to shoot a big-budget commercial for Myntra. But here's the twist: Farah hilariously declares that the brand's offers are so good, it "sells itself" and doesn't even need marketing! So, what's a director to do with two big stars already under contract? Make them do bizarre and funny chores, of course!
Picture this: Shah Rukh Khan, the King of Romance, actually tearing up while Farah makes him chop onions, while a patient Kiara shells peas. Dilip, ever the quick wit, chimes in with a classic movie reference, "Sir, Kal Ho Naa Ho ka climax yaad aa gaya (Sir, this reminds me of the climax of Kal Ho Naa Ho)." And it doesn't stop there! When SRK's onion-chopping skills aren't up to par, Dilip, relaying Farah's instructions, sends him back to do a better job. Meanwhile, Kiara finds herself roped into a game of dumb charades with Farah's team.
Farah, clearly enjoying her directorial power, even has SRK and Kiara strike a pose for a makeshift saree ad for a shop owned by "Dilip ke dost ke papa ki dukaan" (the shop of Dilip's friend's father). Throughout the ad, SRK and Kiara are seen doing everything but a typical commercial – from cutting vegetables and playing games to SRK even doing his iconic pose with crew members.
But the fun doesn't end there! In a delightful final twist, the tables are turned on Farah. Because she too is "under contract," she's suddenly asked to choreograph an impromptu sangeet performance for an employee's relative. This leaves SRK and Kiara to kick back, munch on popcorn, and enjoy watching Farah bust out some dance moves. It’s a truly entertaining and cleverly meta commercial!
