The various cases against stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra regarding his offense ‘traitor’ aimed at Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde have been relocated to Khar police station in Mumbai. An officer said this was done on Saturday. “My sources have informed me that Kunal Kamra has a podcast studio in Khar, where he shoots videos making fun of Shinde for the shocking split in Shiv Sena party,” he added. On the night of March 23, some Shiv Sainiks went berserk and smashed the studio and the hotel it is situated in. As stated by Kamra, three of his loserkad gaddiyas have been moved to Khar police station that already has a case from… “Three cases in Jalgaon and Nashik (Nandgaon) have been transferred to the police Khar station,” the police official said. In Manmad, part of the jurisdiction of Nashik Rural police, Kamra was charged on the complaint of Shiv Sena politician Mayur Borse and in Jalgaon, the complainant is a city head of Shinday’s party. He added, Sanjay Digambar Bhujbal. The charge in Nandgaon in Nashik was on the basis of application from hotelier Sunil Shankar Jadhav ,so said the officer.

A police officer from Mumbai remarked, “These cases will be looked at together.”

The Madras High Court has granted Kamra anticipatory bail in the sum of 100,000 Rupees provided that he appears and executes a bond before the judicial magistrate at Vanur in Villupuram District of Tamil Nadu for the satisfaction of the magistrate.

He claimed that he relocated from Mumbai to Tamil Nadu in 2021 and has been, in normal sense, a resident of this State since then and was fearing arrest from the Mumbai police.
