Megastar Amitabh Bachchan mostly prefers to stay away from promotional events. He is absent from the promotion of his big films. But he recently attended the promotional event of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Every fan was shocked to see him. Now he himself revealed the reason for attending the event on his blog.
Big B shared some pictures of the film’s event held in Mumbai on his blog on Wednesday evening. Big B wrote, ‘My presence for promotional work is something I stay away from… but for the sake of the best production team and especially, a team run by daughters, this is a justification beyond personal choice.’
Praising the team of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’
After this, the actor praised the team of the upcoming film directed by Nag Ashwin. “To be a part of the vision of the prducer and director, to be a part of some extraordinary ideas was a pleasure that I had not even imagined or was not even close to.”
Big B bought the first ticket
Amitabh also shared a picture of himself buying a ticket for the film from film producer Ashwini Dutt and wrote, “Buying the first ticket of the show from the film producer…” The film stars Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani and many other actors in lead roles.
Who is playing which role in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’?
Amitabh is playing the role of Ashwatthama in the film, while Prabhas is playing the role of Bhairava. Recently the trailer of the film was launched, in which Kamal Haasan was also seen. The makers have high hopes from this film.
In the trailer, the story begins with Kashi, a land rich in resources. It is occupied by Shashvat Chatterjee. He comes to know from a prophecy that a child is going to be born soon, who will overthrow his rule.
