
Building on the success of previous livestreams like Coldplay: Music of the Spheres and Mahashivratri: The Divine Night, JioHotstar will now broadcast the Ram Navami celebrations on April 6. The live event will air globally from 8 AM to 1 PM IST, showcasing sacred traditions from Ayodhya and other prominent spiritual sites.
The broadcast will feature Padma Vibhushan awardee Amitabh Bachchan, who will narrate the Ram Katha, offering reflections on the life and virtues of Lord Ram. The presentation will follow the seven kands of the Ramayana, offering a deep dive into the epic’s core themes and teachings.
Amitabh Bachchan to Share Insights and Engage with Children
Amitabh Bachchan will also participate in a special session with children, during which he will recite and explain selected stories and verses from the Ramayana in an accessible format.

In addition to the main event in Ayodhya, sacred rituals and aartis will be broadcast live from other revered locations such as Bhadrachalam, Panchvati, and Chitrakoot. The livestream will include:
