Kangana Ranaut Javed Akhtar Legal Battle: The ongoing defamation feud of Akhtar Javed, a prominent Hindi cinema lyricist, and Kangana Ranaut, an outspoken politician, has reached a close. Recently, they have clicked a smiling selfie which seems to be gaining an unusual amount of attention on the internet, raising questions.
Kangana publicized on social media platforms that both of them have resolved the matter. She went on to describe her appreciation for Javed Akhtar and mentioned that he will be writing songs for her next film. In an interview with Aaj Tak, Javed Akhtar spoke candidly about the issue. He affirmatively stated, “Yes, this matter has been resolved. Kangana has withdrawn her statement and allegation.”
Kangana dropped the defamation claim Kangkan saying: “Kangana has assured that she will not indulge in such actions in the future. She has apologized for the inconvenience that was caused to me and has also withdrawn her case. I did not ask for money, I just needed an apology, which I did get.” Javed Akhtar, when asked by the journalist if he is content with this outcome, lightheartedly responded, “No, now I will see, should I take on some other trouble?”
This dispute began in 2020. Javed Akthar and Kangana Ranaut have now completely moved on from this legal conflict. This issue arose in the year 2020 when Javed Akhtar placed a defamation claim on kangana. He claimed that Kangana had said certain false things about him during her interview and it adversely affected his reputation. Now, there has been an understanding between the two and this issue is resolved.
