Jammu & Kashmir Tensions: Indian Army Responds Strongly to Unprovoked Firing by Pakistan:

Current Events In Jammu And Kashmir: At the moment people are angry over the latest terrorist attack on Pahalgam. The initial casualties and damage estimates indicate severe outcomes of the ongoing shelling. Reports reveal the firing on the LOC has not ceased since India halted the Inter-Services Water Treaty. Just last night Pakistan came again with another assault which consisted of undisguised small arms fire across the LOC in front of Tutmari Gali and Rampur Sector. As is expected, our soldiers gave them the appropriate response by engaging them with small arms fire as well.

We would also like to apprise the public of the fact that after the snow lifted on Pahalgam, the Indian army moved into high alert and intensified search and destroy missions against terrorists. It is said that none of our men in Khaki sustained any injuries during this skirmish. In spite of all these developments, the Indian army fortitude and resolve stood strong on the border.

Jammu Kashmir Terrorist Attack: The dreadful terrorist attack on the Pahalgam region on April 22 claimed the lives of 26 individuals with the number of casualties still under a cloud of uncertainty. Countless others were wounded. Following the attack, India took a very stern position towards Pakistan. Moreover, the government has initiated a comprehensive offensive campaign against suspected terrorists and their supporters in Kashmir, during which terrorist residences were destroyed, their lairs were searched, and numerous supporters were arrested.
