Today, August 16, marks the grand inauguration of this semi-high-speed train, hailed as the fastest on this route. Covering an impressive distance of 441 kilometers in just 6 hours and 35 minutes, this train promises to change the way millions travel across West Bengal, Bihar, and Eastern India.

Departure and Arrival:
From Jamalpur: Departs at 3:30PM, reaches Howrah Junction at 10:05PM
From Howrah: Departs at 7:45AM, reaches Jamalpur Junction at 2:15PM
Stops: The train will halt at strategically important stations—Bhagalpur, Baraht, Mandar Hill, Hansdiha, Noniat, Dumka, Rampurhat, and Bolpur Shantiniketan.

The train comprises 8 coaches, including one Executive Chair Car (EC) and seven regular Chair Cars (CC). With a total seating capacity of 590 passengers—44 in the EC coach and 546 in the CC—the Vande Bharat Express ensures a comfortable ride for everyone. Tickets for the AC Chair Car (CC) are priced at ₹1,290, while those opting for the exclusive Executive Chair Car (EC) will pay ₹2,335.
