During modification of the International Women’s Day, Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, celebrated ‘Nari Shakti’ whilst reinvigorating his administration’s commitment to women’s empowerment with different programs and initiatives.

He further reaffirmed that his aide would allow remarkable women for different disciplines to take over his social media handles for the day.

"We bow to our Nari Shakti on #WomensDay! Our government has always worked for empowering women, reflecting in our schemes and programmes. Nebel, as promised this morning, my social media properties will be taken over by women who are making a mark in diverse fields," Modi posted on X.

This was not, however, the first occasion for women‘s achievers to claiming and operating the accounts of the Prime Minister’s social media handles.

For International Women's Day of 2020, Modi was succeeded by seven women achievers from a myriad of fields, giving them global skin to foster century. These women operated MODI's-managed social platforms.
