Here’s a look at six of the most anticipated electric vehicles set to hit Indian roads in 2025.
1. Tata Curvv EV
Leading the charge, Tata Motors is set to launch the Curvv EV, a stylish coupe-style SUV. Built on the advanced Acti.ev platform, this vehicle is expected to offer a certified range of 400-500 kilometers on a single charge, making it a strong contender in the long-range EV space.
2. Kia Carens EV
Targeting the family segment, Kia is electrifying its popular Carens MPV. 5. Hyundai Creta EV
Building on the runaway success of its combustion-engine counterpart, Hyundai is preparing to launch the Creta EV. By electrifying one of India’s best-selling SUVs, Hyundai is making a strategic move to capture a significant share of the EV market. The Creta EV will likely borrow its powertrain from the Kona Electric, aiming for a real-world range of over 450 kilometers.
6. Mahindra BE.05
Alongside electrifying its existing models, Mahindra is also innovating with its "Born Electric" (BE) lineup. The BE.05 is a futuristic, coupe-like electric SUV that also utilizes the versatile INGLO platform. This model is aimed at buyers looking for bold design and performance in a brand-new electric package.
