Travel agencies withdraw their services to Turkey and Azerbaijan

Industry Voices Support the Boycott
Corporate executive Goenka Harsh pointed out that India's tourism alone brought to turkey and azerbaijan over “4,000 crores” in the year 2024. He encouraged tourists to withdraw their plans, suggesting, “There are hundreds of places which are pro India.”

Increase in Indian Tourist to Turkey and Azerbaijan in 2024
Both countries experienced a remarkable increase in Indian tourism during the current year.
Turkey: 3,30,000 Indian tourists, an increase of 20.7% as compared to 2023.
Azerbaijan: 2,43,000 Indian tourists, an increase of 108%.
Average spending by a visitor to Turkey: $972 per head.
It is apparent that these figures are indicative of the economic consequences resulting from the sustained boycott.
