Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Tensions in Turkey and Azerbaijan deepened after the two diplomatic countries condemned India's military operations integrated in an opining statement claiming calamitous concern. Turkey condemned their suing statement and both countries decided to side with Pakistan's claim.
This has ignited a net protest campaign in India wherein users have taken social media and created trends like #BoycottTurkey and #BoycottAzerbaijan. This movement is being pushed by influencers and even some ordinary citizens.
Travel agencies withdraw their services to Turkey and Azerbaijan
Indian travel companies have acted fast as ease my trip released a statement averted travel to these regions warning the Turks for them to not be were a mess like the British counterpart him not needing to go and marking the region as non serious domain for rest travel defiing them as useless reckless sites.
Public and political figures went a bid step ahead stopping with normal reservations sending blanks requests to the travel agencies as Pickyourtrail, Cox & Kings and TravelTriangle stopped offering reservations to whatever points enlisted inside the borders of those nations.

Industry Voices Support the Boycott
Corporate executive Goenka Harsh pointed out that India's tourism alone brought to turkey and azerbaijan over “4,000 crores” in the year 2024. He encouraged tourists to withdraw their plans, suggesting, “There are hundreds of places which are pro India.”
Indians gave Rs 4,000+cr to Turkey & Azerbaijan last year through tourism. Created jobs. Boosted their economy, hotels, weddings, flights.

Increase in Indian Tourist to Turkey and Azerbaijan in 2024
Both countries experienced a remarkable increase in Indian tourism during the current year.
Turkey: 3,30,000 Indian tourists, an increase of 20.7% as compared to 2023.
Azerbaijan: 2,43,000 Indian tourists, an increase of 108%.
Average spending by a visitor to Turkey: $972 per head.
It is apparent that these figures are indicative of the economic consequences resulting from the sustained boycott.
