Indian team created a historic record, no team in the world has done such a feat in T20I

India vs South Africa 1st T20: The Indian team defeated South Africa by 61 runs in the first T20 match. India gave South Africa a target of 203 runs to win, in response to which the South African team was reduced to just 141 runs. The bowlers and batsmen performed brilliantly from the Indian team. While Sanju Sasman scored a century, Varun Chakraborty and Ravi Bishnoi took 3-3 wickets. It is because of these players that the Indian team was able to win the match. Team India has created a historic record as soon as Sanju scored a century. 

Indian team players scored 20 centuries in T20I cricket

Sanju Samson has scored this second century of his T20 International career. This is the 20th century scored by India in T20 International cricket. Before India, no team had scored 20 centuries in T20I cricket. The Indian team is the first team whose players have scored 20 centuries in T20I. New Zealand has scored a total of 12 centuries in T20 International cricket. The Australian team has scored 11 centuries in T20 International cricket and is at number three.

Sanju Samson scored a century

After losing the toss and batting first, the Indian team had a very bad start. When Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring just 7 runs. After this, Suryakumar Yadav (21 runs) and Sanju Samson batted brilliantly. But captain Surya could not play a big innings. But Sanju continued to bat strongly from one end. He scored 107 runs in 50 balls, which included 7 fours and 10 sixes. Apart from Sanju, Tilak Verma scored 33 runs. It is because of these players that the Indian team scored 202 runs in 20 overs.

South African batsmen performed poorly  

South African batsmen proved to be a complete flop in the match. No player was able to bat consistently. Heinrich Klaasen scored the highest 25 runs. David Miller contributed 18 runs, captain Aiden Markram contributed 8 runs and Tristan Stubbs contributed 11 runs. South Africa had to face a crushing defeat due to the poor performance of the batsmen. Varun Chakravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi took 3-3 wickets for 25 runs in 4 overs. Avesh Khan took two wickets. Due to these bowlers, South African team could not chase the target.
