Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Pawandeep Rajan, the winner of Indian Idol 12, met with a road accident on National Highway-9 close to Gajraula, Amroha where he sustained critical injuries. Two of his SUVs collided to a parked Truck at around 2:30 AM as he was trying to catch a flight for an event scheduled in Ahmadabad slated for 5th May.
Subsequently, he was initially admitted in a local hospital for first aid and then shifted to higher medical center. Reportedly, the accident caused him severe injuries including multiple fractures in both of his legs, shoulders, head and other critical body parts. Currently, he is said to be in the ICU where he is expected to undergo a six hour long surgery.
Now, His Current Health Status
Post intensive medical interventions performed on Pawandeep, he was moved from the ICU to a private room in the hospital which indicates he has more slowly recovering. In his current state, he is said to be in a stable condition.
His close friend Govind Digari who was in the hospital actively shared his screenshots on Instagram where pawandeep was seemingly healthier than previously thought. In his caption he made the claim “Aap sabhi ke aashirwad se Pawan ab kaafi theek hai” (With all your blessings, Pawan is now doing much better) in Hindi.
Pawandeep and His Team
Pawandeep was en route to an airport for a scheduled live performance when the unfortunate incident occured. His team later shared a detailed statement that verified the incident, alongside confirming that an unfortunate accident had taken place.
Ajay Mehra, a co-passenger, was also involved in the crash and sustained injuries. Along with Pawandeep, Ajay and his driver, Rahul Singh, were taken for treatment and subsequently moved to a different facility for additional treatment.
