Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The Indian Army issued its first-ever video depicting the destruction of a Pakistani military outpost during precision bombing runs over the Line of Control (LoC).  
As per a post by Additional Directorate General of Public Information, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army) regarding the incident, “The Pakistan Armed Forces carried out multiple drone and munitions strike along the total Western Frontier on the night of May 8 and 9, 2025. In addition, there were multiple instances of ceasefire violations by Pakistani soldiers along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir."  

Amidst the violence, India’s response to drone incursions and ceasefire violations was to strengthen countermeasure systems and increase firepower for all responses the Army stated, “Indian soldiers will strongly retaliate to any hostile activity along the nation’s borders, with lethal force if necessary."  

Border Security Force (BSF) Foils Infiltration in Jammu and Kashmir  

The Border Security Force (BSF) of India has thwarted one of the major infiltration attempts that took place through the Samba region of Jammu and Kashmir. This action was in retaliation to Pakistan’s sustained campaign against military targets in the north and western Indian states of Rajasthan, Punjab, and Gujarat.

To counter any potential threats, these states increased border patrols, activated evacuation protocols, and canceled police leaves.

India Takes Action on Advanced Air Defense Systems

The S400 Triumf, Barak 8 MRSAM Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missiles, and Akash – India's own system – are integral to other defensive aerial interfaces. The Indian Air Force executed an Integrated Counter-UAS Grid and pioneered an entire multi-layered air defense system to counter and destroy threats targeting 15 military bases along with some civilian towns.  

India Restricts Explanation to Counter Defensive Moves

In a press conference conducted earlier today, Foreign Secretary Misri Vikram made it clear that India was quite restrained in its operations. His emphasis was that they only focused on the so-called ‘terrorist infrastructure’ located in Pakistan. And Vikram reiterated that the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam escalated the situation, but focus was “controlled oscillation.”
