India vs Australia: The match between India and Australia in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has commenced. This is the second biggest rivalry of the world and unfortunately, the luck for Indian captain Rohit Sharma is not on his side. Sharma Rohit, has lost tosses the most amount of times consecutively in ODIs right after Jimmy Adams, who won the toss 12 times in the span of two years from 1998 to 1999 and promptly lost every single time.
Netherlands skipper Peter Barron is the only other name on the list who lost the toss 11 times from March 2011 to August 2013. Now Rohit Sharma has also matched Barron.
Travis Head’s tension is out of the window
Australia has successfully won the toss and opted to bat first. The most problematic figure was Travis Head who has been the bane for the Indian team during the ICC tournaments. Something on those lines happened today as well but Varun spoiled Australia’s dream. He dismissed Head for 39 runs. It will be very interesting to see who becomes Australia’s new headache now.
