New Delhi : Amid mixed global signals, the domestic stock market is showing strength today. Today’s trading started on a strong note. As the business grew, so did the strength in the market. After the initial 1 hour of trading, the Sensex was trading with a strength of 0.31 percent and the Nifty was trading with a strength of 0.41 percent.
After the first 1 hour of trading, shares of Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Divis Laboratories, BPCL and Wipro were trading with a strength of 12.01 percent to 1.44 percent. On the other hand, shares of Grasim Industries, HDFC Life, Kotak Mahindra, Mahindra & Mahindra and Titan Company were trading with a weakness of 1.30 per cent to 0.52 per cent.
In the trading so far, there were active trading in 1,908 shares in the stock market. Out of these, 1,303 stocks were trading in the green mark after making profits, while 605 stocks were trading in the red mark after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 stocks included in the Sensex, 24 stocks remained in the green mark with the support of buying. On the other hand, 6 stocks were trading in red mark under selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 stocks included in Nifty, 37 stocks were seen trading in green mark and 13 stocks in red mark.
Today, the BSE Sensex jumped 134.48 points to open at 62,098.16 points. As soon as the business started, the buyers started all-round buying, due to which the index jumped to 62,206.62 points in a short time. However, there seems to be some profit booking in the business so far. The Sensex was trading at a level of 62,153.54 points with a gain of 189.86 points at 10:15 am after the initial 1-hour trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market.
Like the Sensex, the NSE’s Nifty started trading today at a level of 18,362.90 points with a gain of 48.50 points. Due to the buying started as soon as the market opened, this index crossed the level of 18,400 points and reached 18,409.75 points in a short time. However, the index also declined marginally after this due to selling due to profit booking. The Nifty was trading at a level of 18,389.84 points with a gain of 75.45 points at 10:15 am after the initial 1-hour trading between continuous buying and selling in the market.
The domestic stock market started trading today with a slight gain in the pre-opening session amid mixed global cues. In this session, the BSE Sensex was at the level of 62,059.22 points with a gain of 95.54 points, or 0.13 percent. At the same time, the Nifty had reached a level of 18,362.90 points with a gain of 48.50 points, or 0.26 percent, in the pre-opening session.
Prior to this, on Monday, the Sensex gained 234 points, or 0.38 percent, to close at 61,963.68 points on the previous trading day. At the same time, the Nifty ended Monday’s trading at 18,314.40 points with a gain of 111 points, or 0.61 percent.
