Imran Khan on First Meeting with Lekha Washington: "Her Then-Partner Was..." :

Fans of actor Imran Khan have been looking forward to his return to the silver screen for a long time. Furthermore, the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actor’s life has always been of interest to his fans, and now he’s talking about his dating life. Now, Imran is in a relationship with Lekha Washington.

In the latest episode of the Moments of Silence podcast, Imran addressed the question that everyone was curious about, which is his story about how he met Lekha. Imran said, “We were all in one group of friends. Her ex partner infact was an old school buddy of mine. So we were all kind of within the same group of friends.“

The actor elaborated on his relationship with Lekha saying, “For the first couple of years in our relationship, she was in her place and I was in my place too. This year, with us having moved into the same place, has been about me saying there is too much stuff and her saying, ‘But I found this amazing thing.’”

Imran and Lekha are dating since 2020. Before that the actor was married with Avantika Malik in 2011. The couple eventually got divorced in 2019 due to irreconcilable differences after having a daughter together in 2014 named Imara Malik Khan. The couple decided to separate as things started to fall apart for the two.

Prior to that though, Lekha was dating journalist Pablo Chatterji, who is the son of renowned theatre actor Dhritiman Chatterjee.

Back in 2015, he was featured in the film ‘Katti Batti’ the last time Khan made an appearance. After that, he seems to have stopped acting altogether but did direct a short film named Mission Mars: Keep Walking India in 2018.

Now, it is rumored that Imran is going to make his return with the new project titled Happy Patel. Mona Singh is expected to appear in the project as well. The film is a comedy drama and is directed by Vir Das and produced by Aamir Khan.
