Speaking at a community event for the Lodhi community in Aligarh, Singh, who is the youngest minister in Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's cabinet, confidently laid out his future aspirations. "Today I am the Education Minister," he announced to the crowd, "but tomorrow, with your blessings, I will also become the Chief Minister."

He is the grandson of the late Kalyan Singh, a former two-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a towering figure in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Sandeep's father, Rajveer Singh, is also a sitting Member of Parliament.
