Security is being ramped up across Mumbai after the city's traffic police received a startling message on their official WhatsApp number. The message, claiming to be from a group called 'Lashkar-e-Jihadi', warned of a series of terror attacks being planned for the city.

The threat was quite specific, stating that 34 vehicles had been rigged with "human bombs" and were ready to cause blasts that would "shake entire Mumbai." This alarming message came as the police were already making security arrangements for Anant Chaturthi, the final day of the massive Ganesh festival, which draws huge crowds onto the streets.

The message also claimed that 14 Pakistani terrorists have entered India and that a large quantity of RDX explosives would be used in the attacks. In response, the Mumbai Crime Branch has launched a full investigation, and the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and other agencies have been brought in to assist.

As the city prepares for the festival's grand finale, police have increased their presence at sensitive locations and are conducting combing operations to prevent any incidents. Authorities are working to trace the source of the message and have urged the public to remain calm, avoid spreading rumors, and report any suspicious activity immediately. They have assured everyone that all necessary measures are in place to ensure the celebrations can proceed safely and peacefully.
