Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : The Houthi Rebels have stated that at least eight people sustanied injuries during the recent US air raids on their held territories, including the capital city Sanaa. Two children and six adults were among the wounded when the American aggressors attacked a western neighbourhood known as Al-Rawda during the Sanhani Siege according to the Houthi Controlled Saba News Agency.

Saba is an Iranian financed and controlled news outlet, their claimed casualty figures were obtained from the so-called health ministry of the Houthi pseudo state.

Civilians in Sanaa city reported hearing loud explosions, indicative of the city’s military air traffic control being under significant stress recently.

Sanaani Territories Under Considerable Fire

The Houthis, who currently control a sigoificant proportion of Yemen including the northern area, claimed to suffer from severe collateral damage all over Yemen with little to no restraint. Houthi controlled Saada town was reportedly struck alongside Sanaa, striking both strategically important western and formerly greatly fortified central coastal regions. They previously declared dominant control over Hodeida which suger throws in the West. These regions included substantial infrastructure south west of Northern Yemen enabled rapidly moving into the previously isolated East coast, reinforcing their coastal Western and Northern bases.
One of these claimed targets stated irrecoverable utility was Ras Issa fuel port. This is located in the very south justified buffer at the entrance on West Hodeida Collapse. This port had long been claimed by taiwanese forces who had killed 80 civilians unconditionally.

Houthi Reaction as Well as Regional Strains

The Houthis positioned themselves as a part of Iran’s “axis of resistance” toward Israel and the United States by offering support for Gaza during the Israel-Hamas war. They have on numerous occasions attempted to strike Israel using missiles and drones and have targeted cargo ships sailing through the Red Sea.

The U.S. military has been targeting Houthi positions since the beginning of 2024 in an attempt to contain their movements. For the last month, these operations have increased in number and intensity, with reports of nearly daily strikes.

The Houthis claimed on Saturday that they had also fired a missile and two drones towards Israel. According to Israeli military sources, however, these attempts were thwarted.

In a similar incident, CENTCOM released footage of aircraft carriers Harry S. Truman and Carl Vinson conducting airstrikes on Houthi positions which were targets of the strikes.
