
The Hanuman Jayanti celebrations were marked with Shobha Yatras, arati, and devotional songs across the nation on Saturday.
The Chief Minister of Delhi offered her prayers to Lord Hanuman in Shalimar Bagh where she also unveiled an amazing chapati maker which is capable of producing 1,200 chapatis per hour.
Siddh Katyayani Devi temple Shalimar Bagh can now make use of 'Anna Sewa' as the automatic chapati maker will enable them to prepare food packets for the poor and needy. The chief minister also said that she offered her prayers during the unveiling hoping that the Lord will aid her in making her goals of a ‘Viksit Delhi’ possible. Gupta also paid his regards to Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir Karol Bagh.
In other news, a police official has informed that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has had their process permitted canceled in North West Delhi Jahangir Puri due to the concerns over maintaining order.
In Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh region there was a beautifully executed Hanuman Jayanti procession that took place in the previously violence struck city from last year.
The procession commenced from Shri Bala Ji Temple Hallu Sarai and was escorted with heavy security while chanting “Jai Bajrangbali” throughout the local area.
A sequence of devotional programs started on the morning of the Shri Bala Ji temple located in Hallu Sarai. The police and the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) were heavily stationed all over the city and on the procession route, indicating that security was tight.
Violence erupted on November 24 when four people suffered fatal injuries as violence broke out during a court-ordered survey of a mosque in Kot Garvi.
Temples in Varansi were decorated and colorful aartis singing along with 'Ramcharitmanas' recitals commenced early to mark the occasion. Several local committees organized processions in honor of the occasion and senior police officials patrolled the city to control the peace and order.
The renowned Sankat Mochan is considered to be a major centre of celebrations and so on this day special arragements were conducted.
The Mishra temple mahant Vishambhar Nath Mishra said to PTI, “Special worship along with Aarti of Shri Hanuman is being offered today on the temple premises. The day commenced with shehnai, Rudrabhishek by priests, recitals of the ‘Ramcharitmanas’, Sita-Ram kirtans and Sundarkand from Valmiki Ramayan.” Elsewhere in the nation, BJP leaders and other organizations simultaneously observed Hanuman Jayanti in different parts of West Bengal under heavy security. They performed pujas and recited Hanuman Chalisa at some 60 venues in Kolkata alone, sources added.
Siliguri, Durgapur, and Purulia along with Asanol hai celebrated the festive day simultaneously as well.
At the Hanuman Temple in Gowliduda, VHP leader and former BJP MP Ram Vilas Vedanti attended the Bajabg Dal Shobha Yatra organized in honor of Hanuman Jayanti.
There was a massive youth turnout as they shouted slogans of Jai Shri Ram while joining the processions. Vedanti said he wished for Narendra Modi to be in his fourth term as prime minister and for India to be declared a Hindu Rashtra.
PTI received a statement from Madhya Pardesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, who said he prayed at Pitru Parvat in Indore.
Police reported that a bee attack at Anjaneri Hill led to injuries for a number of devotees.
Official reports claim that the incident took place at approximately 7.30 in the morning when a large number of devotees were visiting the temple.
Anjaneri is situated 20 kilometers away from Nashik and it is well known for being the birthplace of lord Hanuman.
Narendra Modi also wished the public on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. The Prime Minister sent wishes regarding health, wealth, and happiness to the public alongside the blessings of Lord Hanuman through a post on X.
Hanuman, considered to be the most powerful and supreme warrior Ram’s devoted follower, has a remarkable place of reverence all over India.
