Gurugram-Alwar Highway: For all of the people living in Haryana and Rajasthan, this is some good and soothing news. Traveling between the two states will be very simple and quick in the near future. Gurugram-Alwar National Highway which interlinks Rajasthan and Haryana is expected to start in the next four months. The state government will spend 555 crore rupees for developing this project. Let us find out by when will the road be ready to use.  

People living in both Ranchi and Gurugram will be able to travel to both places without much trouble. The work on Gurugram-Alwar National Highway 248A has been completely sanctioned. Construction will begin August to September this year. The people in the bordering states will not face any travel hurdles. The first stage of construction includes developing a four-lane highway from Nuh-Naugawan in Rajasthan, which is expected to be completed within a year; the road will be ready for use within 2026. The construction will make the road more accessible through towns and villages increasing job opportunities for the locals.Expenditure for Gurugram-Alwar Highway

Meena informs that Deputy Commissioner forwarded a proposal of Rs 555 crore to the central government, out of which 480 crore has already been sanctioned. All pending inter-departmental issues like the Forest Department and other technical issues have been solved. Work on this road will commence in four to five months.

 

Length of Gurugram-Alwar Highway

630 meters is the projected distance of this road. This stretch of road has the highest number of road accidents, also known as Khooni Marg. Locals have been requesting for construction of a four-lane highway for the past decade. It will be a granted projet of PWD. The department will advertise once the DPR is done and to ensure quick progression of the construction work.

This is one of the most busy roads in the region. However, frequent road collisions occur as a result of the road not being widened. Local people protested on the construction of the road and started demonstrating. In the assembly Aftab Ahmed also wrote a letter to Gadkari demanding constructive action. The Union Government has now sanctioned the construction of this national highway which comes to people of Mewat in 2025 as a relief.  

There are approximately 50 villages within and outside Nuh to Alwar. For these people there are several markets set up along the Gurugram-Alwar highway. This is why the number of people in this region is more. This is why, 9 foot bridges are going to built on Alwar recliamated Highway. These are Kheda foot bridge Akeda foot bridge, Akandeha bridge, Mandikheda bridge and Ambedkar circle of Firozpur Jhirka. On the route 2 bypasses will get constructed. The report suggests that the first will be constructed around the village Malb while the second will be bordered by Bhadas. Both of them will have an approximate length of four kilometers. And obiously, this highway will change the game by converting hours of travel into mere minutes.
