Gamers, get ready for a blast from the past, reimagined for the modern era. The iconic first-person tactical shooter, Delta Force, is gearing up for a massive return, and this time, it's storming onto PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, in addition to its previously announced PC and mobile versions.

Developed by TiMi Studio Group, this new free-to-play title, officially named Delta Force: Hawk Ops, aims to bring the franchise's signature tactical combat to a new generation. Best of all, it will feature full cross-platform support, allowing you to squad up and play with friends regardless of whether they're on a console, PC, or mobile device.

The game is being built on three core pillars of gameplay:

Havoc Warfare: A massive player-vs-player mode where large teams battle it out on huge maps complete with military vehicles, reminiscent of the large-scale combat in the Battlefield series.

Hazard Operations: A tactical extraction shooter mode. Like popular games such as Escape from Tarkov, you'll team up, loot valuable gear, and fight both other players and AI enemies to survive and extract with your spoils.

Black Hawk Down Campaign: For fans of the original, the game will include a remastered version of the classic Delta Force: Black Hawk Down campaign, allowing players to relive the iconic missions with stunning modern graphics.

While an official release date has not yet been announced, players can now pre-register for the game on its official website. Doing so will unlock a series of community-based rewards. As more players sign up, everyone will receive better in-game items at launch, including weapon skins, gear, and a special "Star-Spangled Suppressor."

With its blend of nostalgic campaign action and modern free-to-play multiplayer modes, Delta Force: Hawk Ops is shaping up to be a major new contender in the tactical shooter space.
