Gas leak at Pana-Chaabi factory in Ludhiana. Father and son among 3 dead from suffocation

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : A serious accident occurred due to a poisonous gas leak at a key and key factory in Ludhiana. Panic broke out among the workers following a gas leak. Three people including a father and son died of suffocation. Some workers fell unconscious while others are said to be in a serious condition.

The toxic gas spread throughout the factory premises from a leak in the gas pipeline.

According to the witnesses, work was going on as usual at the factory when a cylinder or gas pipeline started leaking. The toxic gas started spreading rapidly through the premises. Its impact was such that it was difficult for many workers to save themselves. Several workers who fell into suffocation or got their eyes affected by the poisonous gas fell unconscious within the premises.

The administration came to know of the incident and there was an atmosphere of chaos. Local people, together with the administration were trying to pull out workers from the factory. The deceased were identified as Mana and his son Amit.

Father and son had gone to remove the soil coming out from below the machine.

According to sources, the duo had come to transfer the soil coming from under the machine to a trolley. It is here that they came into contact with the toxic gas. Mana and Amit are the sole bread earners of the family. Amit is married with a wife, two sisters and a younger brother. Amit was married with wife and daughter aged one.
