Suspense crime, Digital Desk : In a surprising and unconventional career move, Tej Pratap Yadav, a cabinet minister in the Bihar government and the elder son of political stalwarts Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, is set to train as a commercial pilot.
The high-profile politician announced that he has successfully cleared the aptitude test and interview to enroll in a flight training course at the Bihar Flying Institute. He was one of 30 candidates selected from a pool of 60 applicants for the prestigious program.
Yadav, who currently serves as Bihar's Minister for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, shared the news on his social media accounts, posting a copy of his enrollment letter. In his post, he expressed his immense happiness about starting this "new chapter" in his life and thanked his parents and the people of Bihar for their blessings.
The course will lead to a Student Pilot License (SPL), which is the foundational first step required for anyone aspiring to obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
This move has generated significant buzz, as it is highly unusual for a serving minister from a prominent political dynasty to simultaneously pursue a demanding and technical profession like commercial aviation. It marks a unique and ambitious new flight path for the well-known political figure.
