Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Bengaluru, India – Hombale Films, the production powerhouse that delivered blockbuster hits like KGF, Salaar, and Kantara, is now venturing into a completely new and ambitious territory: animation. The company has officially announced the launch of its "Mahavatar Universe," a large-scale project billed as India's first mythological animation universe.

The universe will kick off with an animated feature film centered on Lord Narsimha, the fierce man-lion avatar of Lord Vishnu. This is just the beginning of a larger saga that aims to explore the Dashavatara (the ten principal avatars of Vishnu), including future projects based on characters like Lord Kalki.

To spearhead this monumental effort, Hombale Films has launched a dedicated new division called "Hombale Animation & Comics." The production house stated that their goal is to present these timeless mythological stories to a new, global, and pan-generational audience, especially children and young adults, through world-class animation.

The announcement was made with a powerful video teaser that gave a glimpse into the grand and epic scale of the project, promising high-quality visuals and compelling storytelling. The teaser for the Narsimha-centric film has already generated significant buzz, with fans praising the potential of a well-funded, serious take on Indian mythology in the animated space.

This move is being hailed as a landmark moment for the Indian entertainment industry. While India has seen many mythological films and series, this is arguably the first time a major, mainstream production house is creating an interconnected cinematic "universe" on this scale, specifically in the animation format.

With Hombale's track record for grand-scale storytelling and high production values, the "Mahavatar Universe" is already one of the most eagerly anticipated projects in Indian entertainment.
