Streaming platform JioHotstar has unveiled the official promo for the third episode of Koffee With Karan Season 9 on Saturday, October 24, 2026, putting Bollywood favorites Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor center stage on the iconic talk show sofa. The short teaser reveals host Karan Johar navigating an avalanche of banter, hilarious career flashbacks, and unfiltered jibes, punctuated by a surprise entrance from Arjun Kapoor that turns the conversational setup into complete comic mayhem. Scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, October 28, the high-energy installment arrives on the heels of major celebrity appearances this season, keeping the flagship chat show firmly in the digital entertainment spotlight.
Roasting the Host: K3G Mimicry and the Silent Treatment Fallout
The newly dropped teaser highlights the long-standing off-screen rapport between Karan Johar and his lead guests:
The Silent Phase Revealed: Both Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor revisited an amusing past phase when Karan abruptly stopped speaking to them over personal grievances, with Janhvi joking about gaining weight during the silent treatment and Varun branding the director "very dramatic."
Varun's Amitabh Bachchan Impression: Poking fun at Karan's dramatic streak, Varun channels Amitabh Bachchan's patriarch persona from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, delivering the famous line: "You became Bachchan from K3G… main bada hoon, mujhe haq hai!"
Trio Camaraderie: The snappy back-and-forth captures the signature easygoing dynamic of Dharma regulars, setting up expectations for a completely unscripted hour of industry anecdotes.
Arjun Kapoor Crashes the Set: Rapid-Fire Roasts and Ravi Kishan Dialogues
The couch dynamic expands significantly when Arjun Kapoor steps into the frame to join the festivities:
Career and Marriage Mentor: During the rapid-fire quiz, Varun jokingly identifies Arjun as his primary sounding board for both career choices and marriage advice, drawing instant laughter from the room.
Janhvi’s Unexpected Instagram Choice: When prompted to pick her favorite social media feed, Janhvi bypassed typical fashion icons to single out Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan's handle, quipping his punchline: "Naam ya Daam.. Naam because money follows my brother."
Special Guest Dynamic: Arjun's arrival adds spontaneous sibling teasing and inside jokes to the traditional Koffee hamper showdown.
