Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav launched a sharp critique of the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, accusing it of making bold, diversionary statements to draw attention away from pressing concerns such as inflation, unemployment, and education.
Yadav, who represents Mainpuri in the Lok Sabha, was responding to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s recent remarks in an ANI interview, where he claimed that Muslims are the safest in UP and defended his government’s tough stance on miscreants.

"Digging Old Graves Is BJP’s Policy"
Responding to the CM’s defense of actions related to the Sambhal issue, Yadav said the government is focused on stirring past controversies instead of addressing current challenges.
“Digging old graves has become the policy of the BJP. They make such statements to deflect attention from the real issues of inflation, unemployment, and lack of proper educational facilities,” she said.
Development Claims Called ‘Laughable’
Yadav questioned the state’s model of development, labeling it “laughable” and demanded clarity on the status of investment promises.
“If you analyze the development work over the last eight years, you’ll see the reality. The government must disclose how many MoUs have actually been implemented,” she added.
Criticism of Bulldozer Politics
On Tuesday, Dimple also criticized the Yogi government’s approach of 'bulldozer justice', calling it a violation of democratic values.
She condemned what she referred to as arbitrary and unconstitutional actions, and noted that such moves persist despite the Supreme Court’s observations against them.
Dimple Yadav continues to be one of the vocal critics of the BJP administration in Uttar Pradesh, regularly calling out what she sees as failures in governance and justice.
