Criminals are cheating people by posing as officers

Let us tell you that cyber criminals are now reaching homes posing as employees and officers of the electricity department to dupe people. The criminals reach the house, check the electricity meter, and then claim that the reading is low. After this, they also accuse the family members of tampering with the meter.

When the family members start looking a little worried after listening to them, the criminals start talking about calling the police to scare them. They say that if the meter is tampered with by calling the police, a case under section 420 will be filed. Many people get scared after hearing such things and taking advantage of such a condition, the criminals start demanding money from them.
