When is Ashadha Gupt Navratri 2024?

Ashadh Gupt Navratri starts from Ashadh Shukla Pratipada and continues till Navami. According to the Panchang, the Gupt Navratri of Ashadh month is starting from Saturday 6th July and will end on Monday 15th July. This time an auspicious coincidence is being made on Gupt Navratri. This Gupt Navratri is of 10 days instead of 9 days. 10 days of Navratri is considered very auspicious.

The devotees of Maa Durga observe nine fasts during Navratri. They also perform Ghatasthapana and worship Mata Rani with rituals. For this, Ghatasthapana is performed on Pratipada Tithi on the first day of Navratri.

Auspicious time for Ghatasthapana of Gupt Navratri

The first auspicious time for Ghatasthapana on Ashadh Navratri is from 05:11 am to 07:26 am on 6 July 2024. At the same time, Abhijit Muhurta for Ghatasthapana is from 11 am to 12 noon on 6 July 2024. Establishing the Kalash in these 2 Muhurtas will be the most auspicious and fruitful.

Maa Durga coming on horse

This time in Ashadh Navratri, Maa Durga is coming on a horse. Actually, the arrival and departure of the mother in Navratri is decided by the day of the beginning and end of Navratri. This time Gupt Navratri is starting from 6th July, Saturday. According to religious scriptures, whenever Navratri starts on Saturday, Maa Durga comes on a horse. Mata Rani’s horse ride indicates the arrival of a natural disaster. Therefore, it is considered inauspicious.

will depart on a buffalo

Gupt Navratri will end on Monday, 15 July 2024. When Navratri ends on Monday, the ride of the mother on which she departs is a buffalo. The departure of the mother on a buffalo is not considered auspicious. It increases grief and illness. In this way, this time in Gupt Navratri, both the rides of the arrival and departure of the mother are giving inauspicious signs.
