The IPL 2025's 29th game between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians was an interesting contest which DC vs MI Highlights captures well. It is fair to say MI emerged victorious in an edge-of-the-seat clash that continued right down to the final over. After electing to bat first, Mumbai scored a total of 205 runs with a target of 206 set for Delhi. However, they managed to get bowled out for 193 before facing the completion of 20 overs.
This victory increases Mumbai’s overall IPL wins to 12. During the last few overs, they lost three crucial wickets rapidly, and to make matters worse, struggled to maintain their run rate. It is important to keep in mind that the game happened at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Dehli which is home to the Capitals.

To farm it off my shoulder, the most euphoric rewind for me of this game was in the 19th over. In the last two overs Delhi Capitals had to score 23 runs with 12 balls to go. Jaspreet Bumrah first came to bowl in the 19th over. It was rather easier for him as Ashutosh Sharma struck 2 fours on the first 3 balls against Bumrah. On the fourth ball, Ashutosh got run out while trying to take the second run. On the fifth ball Kuldeep Yadav and on the last ball Mohit Sharma all got run out while trying to take a single. With 3 run outs in the last three balls of the 19th over, Mumbai won the match.
Mumbai has made a remarkable victory
Indians, who were batting first after losing the toss, sustained their initial setback in the fifth over. Rohit Sharma was sent off by Vipraj Nigam for 18 runs off 12 balls. After that, the inning was carried forward by Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav. In the 8th over, Ryan Rickelton was clean bowled by Kuldeep Yadav for 41 runs off 25 balls. At this point, Mumbai’s score was 79 runs for two wickets. Mumbai lost their third wicket in the 14th over. Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Suryakumar Yadav who scored 40 runs off 28 balls. Mumbai’s score after 14 overs was 138 runs for three wickets.
Mumbai's Tilak Verma scored a remarkable fifty off 26 balls, hitting 3 sixes and 5 fours. Naman Dheer went not out for 38 runs off 17 balls and Will Jacks for 1 run. With those innings, Mumbai managed to score 205 runs in 20 overs.
Delhi Ranji First-Class Finals
Delhi's start to the chase was not ideal. Jake Fraser-McGurk was out without scoring a run on Deepak Chahar’s first ball. From this point, Karun Nair and Abhishek Porel steadied the innings for National Capital Delhi. Nair brought up his quick fire fifty off just 22 balls After that Nair emulated 2 sixes and 8 boundaries. At the end of 6 overs, Delhi scored 72 runs for the loss of 1 wicket. Delhi lost their second wicket in the 11th over. Porel, who was playing well, hit some quick runs but after being dismissed by Karn Sharma, had 33 runs off 25 balls.
For Delhi, losing Karun Nair would be the worst casualty. He was clean bowled by Mitchell Santner and that loss was tremendous. Nair was eventually dismissed for a phenomenal 89 runs off 40 balls but after that, all other batsman seemed helpless to stem the flurry of wickets.
