Suspense crime, Digital Desk : In a significant act of internal rebellion, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) lawmaker Jarnail Singh has withdrawn his support from his own party's government in Delhi. The Tilak Nagar MLA announced his decision as a protest, accusing Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his administration of failing to deliver on a critical campaign promise: seeking justice for the victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Singh's frustration stems from the government's delay in forming a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the decades-old massacre. He claims the AAP is merely "playing politics" with the sensitive issue and has shown no serious intent to act.

"This government hasn't delivered anything," Singh declared, expressing his deep disappointment. He reminded the public that the AAP had promised to form the SIT within one month of taking power. However, with nearly three months passed, no concrete steps have been taken.

"My support for the government was conditional on the formation of the SIT," Singh explained. "Since they have failed to meet that condition, I am compelled to withdraw my support."

Jarnail Singh clarified that he is not resigning from the Aam Aadmi Party or his position as an MLA. Instead, he will sit as an independent member in the Delhi Assembly to protest the government's inaction. This move, while not enough to topple the minority government, serves as a major public embarrassment for the fledgling administration and highlights growing dissent from within its own ranks over unfulfilled promises.
