Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Dinesh Gundu Rao, a Congress Minister in Karnataka, stirred the pot when he claimed PM Narendra Modi is “capitalizing” on the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, for his Bihar election campaign.

This statement comes after Congress told its members not to comment on the Pahalgam incident in the media. In defiance of that order, the party’s official X handle shared an “unos” image which insinuated the Prime Minister was “missing” when the nation required him the most.

“The entire country wants to know………Is CONGRESS actively in the opposition?” the post asked.

“I, for one, am utterly sick and tired of watching elected public representatives simply take us all for granted,” said Rao who defended the poster placed entitled ‘Where is Mr. Modi?'

Rao's remarks also included: “Why is he not selling in the media? Giving explanations? Answering Questions? Pulwama gave him dividends in the Loksabha. Godhra gave him in Gujarat. Now this is for Bihar.”

While trying to set the record straight ahead of reports questioning whether describing Sharma’s image as attempting a takeover was appropriate, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh was spotted strolling in a Los Angeles park. It came to light that Modi referred to the congress leader's comment passively as an attempt to put out the flames.

According to Rao, “Fighting elections is one thing………But National unity take National interests first”.

He was quick to note the party had zero control over comments made by their leaders, predicated on statements from earlier congress meetings announcing boundaries with their spokespeople.

“Ramesh has stressed that any statements made by Congress leaders, which were reported in the news, do not represent the party’s stance. It is the CWC statements and those of their Chairpersons like Kharge and Gandhi which are considered the party’s statements,” INC’s position was defined.”

Other Congress Leaders Stir Controversy

Wadettiwar, a member of the Maharashtra Congress and an MLA, seems to unconsciously support off the wall claims by survivors like terrorists in Pahalgam calmly asking their victims their religion before murdering them:

“Do terrorists have time for all this? Some people say this did not happen. Terrorists have no caste or religion. “
Karnataka’s Excise Minister RB Timmapur, with the same line of thinking said:
“A man who is shooting, will he ask caste or religion? He will just shoot and go.”
