The blockbuster Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal is currently ruling the Indian Box office. Its success has led to its release in Telugu. Directed by Laxman Uthekar, Chhaava has grossed more than Rs 691 crores worldwide, however, the film is now set to break OTT records.

All the amazing reports suggest that Chhaava will hit OTT soon and the wonderous historical drama is said to come out on April 11 on Netflix. Those plans have not been confirmed by the Chhaava creators yet.

Chhaava produced by Maddock Films is shattering box office records everyday. The film recently broke the lifetime collection record of Gadar 2 which was Rs 686 crores globally. Chhaava is now the fastest-moving Indian film in the box office.

The film has also secured the second top position for the highest collection in the fourth week of any Bollywood movie’s release. Earning Rs 28.43 crore in its fourth weekend, the film strongly retained its position at the box office competing against other films. It looks like Chhaava will soon reach the Rs 700 crore milestone.

Rashmika Mandanna plays Maharani Yesubai while Vicky Kaushal stars as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the film. Akshaye Khanna plays the role of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb along with cast Divya Dutta and Ashutosh Rana.

For the people who do not know, the film narrates the Marathas’ courageous struggle against the Mughal Empire with Sambhaji, the son of Shivaji, taking center stage. Following a full-scale assault by Aurangzeb, Sambhaji singlehandedly fights back against betrayals and torture imprisonments. He uncovers the tip of the iceberg that led to the collapse of the Mughal Empire and the emergence of self-governance rule by the Marathas.
