On April 17, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) searched the residence of Durgesh Pathak, a senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Gujarat. According to multiple reports, the search is part of an ongoing investigation into alleged violations of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA).

AAP Condemns Move as Political Retaliation

The Aam Aadmi Party has denounced the raid, calling it an act of political vendetta. Party leaders stated that similar actions took place during the last Gujarat election cycle, implying a pattern of politically motivated enforcement by central authorities.
