But how did this wonder happen? Four babies-two sons and two daughters....A woman delivered four children within five days. It happened without delivery.
Moradabad News :A woman gave birth to four babies in five days at Tirthankara Mahavir University (TMU) Hospital in Moradabad of Uttar Pradesh. This 31-year-old woman, Amina of Sambhal district, is the mother of four babies. However, what is more surprising in this high risk case is that all four babies were delivered safely through vaginal delivery.
Amina is resident of Asmoli area of Sambhal. At an early stage of pregnancy test itself, it came out that she was carrying four fetuses. Gynecologists of TMU hospital had declared it a critical case. They had also suggested that either the family choose fetal reduction for the mother and children’s safety but the family showed immense faith in God and opted for the birth of all four.
Various complications throughout the pregnancy
Amina had numerous health related problems throughout the pregnancy. She had issues related to blood pressure and liver and due to that she was hospitalized various times. She was constantly under the care of a team of doctors. Every 15 to 20 days Amina used to go for her check-up.
According to the sources from the hospital, Amina went into labour on May 8, 2015. The same she gave birth to the first baby a son on May 9, 2015 with the approximate weight 710 grams. The doctors had also deferred other delivery due to the pregnancy being in its six and a half to seven months of pregnancy. She again went into labour on May 14, 2015 and upon arrival to the hospital gave birth to three more babies through vaginal delivery – two sons and a daughter.
The mother and all the four babies are under the medical care.
At present, mother Amina and all the four babies are under strict medical observation. Doctors claimed that one of the babies is completely safe while the others need utmost care. A number of specialized doctors such as Dr Shubhra Agarwal, Dr Purti, Dr Roli and Dr Monica has helped them treat this case.
The father of the babies, Mohammad Alim thanked the hospital and the team of doctors. He said that from the very beginning he had immense faith in the TMU Hospital. He also thanked the whole team of doctors for making this happened.
