TD Power Share Price Rally: Stock Jumps 19% To Hit Fresh 52-Week High On Strong Q1 Earnings
TD Power shares witnessed a massive upward surge on Wednesday, climbing 19 percent during the trading session to touch a fresh 52-week high. Fueled by robust financial performance in the April-June quarter, the multibagger stock has more than doubled investors' wealth, recording an impressive 123 percent return throughout 2026. Strong quarterly earnings have significantly boosted market confidence and triggered heavy buying activity across exchanges.
Q1 Net Profit Jumps 72% And Revenue Surges
The primary catalyst behind the sudden stock price rally is the company's stellar quarterly performance. TD Power reported a remarkable 72 percent year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching ₹86.29 crore for the quarter ending June, compared to ₹50.07 crore during the corresponding period last fiscal year.
Total revenue for the quarter experienced similar growth, climbing to ₹642.67 crore from ₹375.87 crore in the previous fiscal year. Capitalizing on this positive momentum, the company is also scheduled to explore fund-raising opportunities through a securities offering on August 14.
Stock Performance And Multi-Bagger Returns
Opening at ₹1,408.05 on Wednesday, the stock skyrocketed by 19 percent to hit an intraday high of ₹1,514.95 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), marking its highest level over the past year. In contrast, its 52-week low stands at ₹488.95.
The company's long-term growth trajectory remains exceptionally strong:
Short-Term Gains: The stock has rallied 77 percent over the past six months and 204 percent over the past year, comfortably outperforming broader market indices.
Long-Term Wealth Generation: Over a two-year and three-year period, the multibagger stock has delivered phenomenal returns of 502 percent and 3,913 percent, respectively.
Historical Stock Split And Dividend Payouts
TD Power has a history of rewarding its shareholders through corporate actions. In 2022, the company's shares were split into five parts, bringing the face value down from ₹10 to ₹2 per share. Continuing its shareholder-friendly policies, the company declared a dividend of ₹1.10 per share in 2026, trading ex-dividend earlier this month on August 5, following a ₹1 per share dividend payout in 2025.
