Bulandshahr: Criminal with reward of Rs. 1.5 lakh killed in encounter, SHO and SOG constable injured

In Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr, police killed a criminal with a bounty of 1.5 lakh in an encounter. During the encounter, Aahar police station in-charge YD Sharma and a constable of SOG were also injured. Both have been taken to the hospital for treatment. More than 50 serious cases like robbery, dacoity, and attempt to murder were registered against the slain criminal Rajesh. He was wanted in many police stations including Aahar, Anupshahr, and Dibai of Bulandshahr. Rajesh had a bounty of one lakh rupees in Bulandshahr and fifty thousand rupees in Aligarh. 

This operation was conducted under the leadership of CO Anupshahr Girja Shankar Tripathi on the information of the informer. In the joint operation of the SWAT team, SOG, and Aahar police in the Dehat police station area, the rewarded terrorist was encountered. 

Fourth encounter in three days

This is the fourth encounter of UP police in three days. Earlier, six accused were caught in three separate encounters. Police had caught the accused by shooting them in the leg. On 10th October, the olice of Beta-2 police station of Naida arrested two accused of robbery after a late-night encounter. During checking on the road, the criminals ran away and when police chased them, they opened fire. In retaliation, both were shot in the leg. After this, police arrested two criminals named Ram Kishore and Sachin. Police recovered a stolen car, a country-made pistol, cartridges, and Rs. 7,84,600 cash from them. Three days ago, the criminals had looted Rs. 10 lakh at gunpoint from collection agent Sanjay Singh near Pthe -3 roundabout in the olice station Beta-2 area. 

Four miscreants were arrested on Wednesday

.On October 9, the police arrested four criminals after two encounters. On Wednesday morning, during a check on the Dadri main road, the police had an encounter with three criminals who were trying to escape, after which they were arrested. The police recovered 62 mobile phones, illegal weapons, and the motorcycle used in the incident from the three criminals. On the other hand, the police of Ecotech-3 police station arrested Shahnawaz alias Shanu, a criminal with a reward of Rs 25,000, wn a robbery case, on Tuesday night. He was wanted in the case of looting a person’s house in the Ecotech-3 police station area inTugustt along with his accomplices. The police recovered a country-made pistol and Rs 24,500 cash obtained from the robbery, nd a stolen motorcycle from him.
