Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman has come under heavy criticism following his controversial statement regarding Maharana Sanga. The statement has triggered sharp reactions from various groups, including the Karni Sena and Gau Raksha Bajrang Force.
Bittu Bajrangi, the president of Gau Raksha Bajrang Force and an accused in the Nuh violence case, has publicly threatened Suman. In a video message, he announced a reward for anyone who "teaches a lesson" to the MP. His comments have further intensified political and social unrest.
Karni Sena Joins the Protest
Karni Sena has called for the dismissal of Ramji Lal Suman from the Rajya Sabha. In response to the MP's controversial remarks, they have also warned of escalating nationwide protests. They referred to the recent vandalism outside Suman’s residence in Agra as a "trailer" of what may come.
Mahipal Makrana, president of the Rajput Karni Sena, emphasized that the damage caused was a symbolic act and warned against the insult of historical icons. The group insists that Suman’s comments on Maharana Sanga are unacceptable and demand immediate action.
Security Action and Arrests in Agra
Police have detained several individuals connected to the vandalism at the MP’s house in Agra. Authorities are also investigating those who gathered outside the residence. A bulldozer reportedly brought to the scene has been seized.
Law enforcement continues to monitor the situation, especially in view of potential protests announced by the Karni Sena if their demand for Rajya Sabha dismissal is not met.
