Students from Patwa Toli village in the Gaya district of Bihar have hit new educational milestones as more than 40 candidates from their village have been able to clear the JEE Main for this year. The results came out on April 19 and it is highly commendable achievement given the lack of financial resources that are available in the village.

The Vriksha Foundation's aid

These accomplishments have been made possible because of the NGO Vriksha Foundation, which is dedicated towards helping students prepare for engineering entrance exams. Deepeshwar Prasad, who is the Chairman of the Foundation, expressed gratitude regarding the students achievement stating that, “Their commitment to education is nothing short of a legacy.”

Prasad also mentioned: "There are severe financial limitations, but villagers hailing from these regions are relentlessly pursuing education. With our financial as well as infrastructural aid, over 40 Patwa Toli students cleared the JEE Main this year."

Remarkable Results

Many students also scored astounding percentiles;

Sharanya: 99.64%

Alok: 97.7%

Shaurya: 97.53%

Yashraj: 97.38%

Shubham: 96.7%

Pratik: 96.55%

Ketan: 96%

All the candidates who were able to pass the exam will now attend the JEE Advanced exam which is expected to happen next month.
