Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Gold prices in Bangalore continued their upward trajectory today, climbing for the third consecutive day and making the precious metal notably more expensive for buyers and investors. Over this three-day period, the price of gold has surged by a significant ₹1,100 per 10 grams.

As of the latest market update, 10 grams of 24-karat gold in Bangalore is now priced at ₹73,800. This is a substantial jump from the previous day's rate of ₹72,700, reflecting the full ₹1,100 increase. Consequently, the per-gram cost for 24-karat gold now stands at ₹7,380.

Similarly, 22-karat gold, which is widely used for making jewelry, has also experienced a price rise. Ten grams of 22-karat gold is currently trading at ₹67,650 in the city. This brings the per-gram rate for 22-karat gold to ₹6,765.

The upward trend isn't limited to gold. Silver prices in Bangalore have also seen a modest increase. The price of silver has risen by ₹100 per kilogram, taking the current rate to ₹97,100 per kg, up from ₹97,000 previously.

These price movements are often influenced by a combination of factors, including international market trends, the value of the US dollar, local demand, import duties, and other regional economic indicators. Consumers looking to purchase gold or silver are advised to verify the live rates with local jewelers, as prices can sometimes vary slightly.
