Atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh, Hazrat Nizamuddin’s Ulemas met Delhi LG, made this demand

Atrocities against Hindus continue in Bangladesh. Hindu temples are still being targeted. There is resentment in India over the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, a delegation of prominent Ulemas of Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin and Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin and Muslim residents of the city met Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena today and expressed deep concern over the attacks on Hindus and other minority communities in Bangladesh. They reiterated that they are concerned about the condition of their Hindu brothers and other minorities in Bangladesh and the deteriorating situation in the country. They demanded that the following steps be seriously considered.

Ulemas made this demand.

  • Strict action should be taken against illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators in the country, especially in Delhi.
  • Houses should not be given on rent to illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators and those who have already given their premises on rent should be asked to vacate them.
  • They should not be given employment in any establishment and those who have employed them should be removed.
  • Delhi residents should be instructed that if they come to know that any illegal Bangladeshi intruder is living in their area, they should inform the police in this regard.
  • MCD and Delhi Police should be directed to remove illegal encroachers from roads, footpaths, parks,s, and other government lands that they have forcibly occupied.
  • Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or any other government documents illegally acquired by Bangladeshi infiltrators should becanceledd immediately.
  • If any mosque or madrasa has given shelter to such infiltrators, they should be vacated immediately.
  • Special campaigns should be launched to identify such infiltrators and send them back to Bangladesh.
