Tamannah Bhatia, the Bollywood actress, has split from Vijay Verma, the actor she was dating for two years. Just a few months back, news was that the couple were set to wed. Social media is rife with speculation that the actress is eager to marry but not ready for Vijay Verma, at least for the time being. They are yet to make a public announcement on the topic but the actress has been recorded saying the affection was one-sided during an interview.
Tamanna is suggested to have made attempts to elevate her romance with Vijay, but Vijay sidestepped the idea of commitment which led to the mutual separation. Breakups due to this reason are not new, but what is vital is that one attempts to learn, without endangering their feelings, if their partner is interested in committing or not.
What is one sided love?
One-sided love refers to a situation wherein the attachment one has is not reciprocated by the other party. Essentially, one person loves another intensely, yet the other does not engage in the relationship as deeply. This creates difficulties, especially for the person who holds the relationship in highest regard.
How to recognize that your partner doesn’t want commitment?
- You recognize that your partner is not interested in making the relationships grow when they do not engage on serious conversations regarding the relationship.
- A refusal to pay attention to your needs and feelings and focusing solely on one's desires can also mean that the partner in question doesn't value the relationship long-term.
- Devoting time to each other is integral for every relationship. If your partner refuses to dedicate time to you for no reason or is perpetually busy, that is a cause of concern.
- If you find yourself as the only one putting in effort to make the relationship serious and your partner does nothing, it is very evident that he is not ready to settle.
- Being somewhat insecure in a relationship is healthy. If your partner shows indifference to whom you talk to or spend time with, that is a sign they don't truly care about you.
