New Delhi: Oscar-winning music composer has been discharged from Apollo Hospital in Chennai today after being admitted last night. In this regard, the musician’s estranged wife Saira Banu has requested fans not to refer to her as the “ex-wife”. Saira took to social media on Sunday and shared a voice note in which she began with a Salam and addressed the situation. She shared, “Assalamualaikum. I do hope he recovers very quickly. I did receive the news that he had some pain in his chest and that he underwent an angiography, and thankfully he appears to be fine. He seems to be quite well.”
She further said, “I want to say to all of you that we are not divorced, for lack of a better term, we are still husband and wife. The only reason we are living apart is for the past two years I have not been feeling well and I did not want to over stress him too, but please stop referring to me as his ex-wife. We are just separated, but my prayers are with him, and I want to share one request with you especially his family, please do not stress him overmuch, look after him, he seems to need it more than you would care to believe. Thank you, Allah Hafiz.”
Rahman's spokesperson mentioned to the media that the singer was not feeling well and had to check in with the doctor last night. Turns out, the doctor's diagnosis of dehydration for fasting during Ramzan was correct.
He came back to London and felt unwell, so he hospital was visited to check in with the doctor. The doctor’s diagnosis was dehydration because Rahman has been fasting for Ramzan, and uninformed for a long time.
In other revelations, AR Rahman, the IR man known for his fiercene artistry, stated it comes as no surprise he made the headlines with a controversial divorce announcement with his wife, Saira Banu, after 29 years of marriage. The couple has three kids, Ameen, Khatija, and Raheema. Immediately after their public announcements, the musician took to social media to vent about how deeply “shattering” of a process it was to deal with so many broken hearts. Thanking friends in private messages was the only interaction the artist chose after suffering the loss on the platform X.
In the post, X wrote, “Even the chair of God may tremble under the burden of broken hearts, and for all we know, everything has an unseen conclusion. We gratefully appreciate the inexhaustible kindness our relatives have shown and their ability to grant us the silence we require during this delicate stage of our existence. We were optimistically wishing to achieve the big thirty, but turns out, there was a never-ending process behind it all. In this dreadful turn of events, we look for some meaning, albeit useless, as the shattered pieces will never be put back together again. #arrsairaabreakup”
