Suspense crime, Digital Desk : With Anushka Sharma honoring the Indian Army on Instagram, the country is at high alert due to war situation along the borders. Anushka has expressed her feelings towards the Indian Army in the following words on her Instagram story:
“Our Indian Armed Forces safeguard us through hellish times. Sincere thanks to their selfless sacrifices along with the sacrifices their families endure. Jai Hind.”
The tribute was noticed immediately and brushed aside by Ankush’s husband, Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli. Kohli also commented on the post saying, “Jai Hind.”

Not long after, Kohli took to his Instagram account to share his new post where he said,
“We stand in solidarity with our armed forces, and salute them for fiercely defending the motherland in these difficult times. Their unwavering bravery places us eternally in debt and absolute gratitude for the sacrifices they and their family make on behalf of this great nation. These heroes deserve every bit of thanks.”
Their posts gathered plenty of attention from the people who share social media platforms with these two public figures more so those who don’t, out of sympathy for the armed forces.
Context: Rising Tensions and Operation Sindoor
The Indian Armed Forces has gone ahead to execute a precision strike on nine terrorist training camps located in Pakistan and PoK. This was precisely Sindoor during which they bombed the region, mapping the area countless times, ensuring it’s void of civillians. The Sindoor was a direct retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack where over twenty six people died. This escalation of violence led to Sindoor crossing the wire at peak traffic during office hours.
Pakistan too retaliated, and then in a not-so-expected twist, retaliated via a spectacular drone and missile blitz targeting civilian drones in the borders of Pakistan Punjab, Jammu and Rajasthan. The borders in India were not fully equipped to handle such a barrage, as each and every single shot the enemy fired was intercepted.

Needless to say these tributes did not go unnoticed and even sparked a movement of it’s own, as within no time people burst out showing their support for it through mastering marketing on social media. Anushka and Virat were capable of making the nation go from drab to fab.
