An Amin of LDA has filed that complaint within a day of the order from CM Yogi. The company is alleged to have built a township which was approved twice by the company’s plans, and had constructed the township on land that was significantly greater than the stipulated area. This FIR has been lodged by LDA's Amin Arpit Sharma.
The firm gambled away several crores.
The complaint was filed in Gomtinagar Police Station by Amin Arpit Sharma of the Lucknow Development Authority on Tuesday evening. It is alleged that the authority had earmarked a tract of land for developing a hi-tech township in 2005 and its DPR was approved in 2006. Ansal initiated the construction of the township. The allegation is that the company got the township plan sanctioned twice and constructed the township on far greater area than what was sanctioned. In his complaint as well as in the FIR, Sushil Ansal and Pranav Ansal together with two other directors and two companies have been charged with fraud. The FIR mentions that the Ansal Company encroached upon the public land and made illegal structures on it and caused huge financial gains by selling the land for construction which has been done legally in the Andhra Pradesh Capital City Region. A part of the loss due to these actions was an adverse impact on the revenue of the government departments.
It is claimed that within the approved township, the company incorporated beyond its self-acquired land, the land of Gram Samaj, ceiling, pond, state government land, Chak Marg, new fallow land, barren land, and canal and drain unto its project. The authority was not apprised of this information and when an inquiry was ordered, it came to light.
In a complaint lodged with the police, it was stated that the 2268 allotters have lodged as complaint with RERA against Ansal Company. Subsequently, RERA imposed the RC of Rs. 235 crore on the company, capturing the balance of the money on deposit. The company only paid Rs. 118 crore. Is it true that the company people also came to the LDA office and alleged misconduct of the employees and made threats?
