Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is further cementing his ties with the sacred city of Ayodhya, having recently acquired a significant plot of land valued at approximately Rs 14.5 crore. This purchase marks his fourth investment in the rapidly developing temple town, underscoring his growing interest in the region.
The newly acquired land, spanning around 10,000 square feet, is situated within "The Sarayu," a prestigious 7-star mixed-use development project by Mumbai-based developers, The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL). This luxury enclave is strategically located, reportedly just a 15-minute drive from the recently consecrated Ram Mandir and about 30 minutes from the Ayodhya International Airport.
This isn't Bachchan's first foray into "The Sarayu"; he had previously invested in a property within the same development where he intends to build a home. His continued investment signals strong confidence in Ayodhya's future and its transformation into a global spiritual and cultural hub. The veteran actor also serves as the brand ambassador for "The Sarayu."
Abhinandan Lodha, Chairman of HoABL, expressed his delight at Bachchan's continued association, stating, "Mr. Bachchan's investment is a testament to the burgeoning appeal of Ayodhya. We are thrilled to welcome him to The Sarayu, a project envisioned to be a monumental part of Ayodhya's story." He further emphasized their commitment to establishing Ayodhya as a "global spiritual capital" through world-class infrastructure and developments.
With this latest acquisition, Amitabh Bachchan's total investments in Ayodhya, including those made by his family, are now estimated to be in the vicinity of Rs 40 crore. This ongoing commitment from one of India's most iconic figures is expected to further boost Ayodhya's profile as a prime destination for both spiritual seekers and discerning investors.
