American-origin Indians take out solidarity march for PM Modi in 20 cities on June 18

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s historic official visit to the US next month, Indian-Americans are planning to welcome Prime Minister Modi by organizing India Unity Day marches in 20 major US cities on June 18.

Prime Minister Modi is going on an official visit to the US in June following an invitation extended to US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. The US President and the first woman Prime Minister Modi are also scheduled to host the dinner on June 22.

There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the Indian community living in America regarding Prime Minister Modi’s return visit to America. Indian community to gather at the National Memorial in Washington DC The Indian community will also organize an India Unity Day March from the National Memorial to the Lincoln Memorial on that day to welcome Modi. Adapa Prasad, National President of Overseas Friend of BJP-America, said that the march is being organized two days before Modi’s visit to America. Adapa Prasad said, along with organizing the march in Washington DC, similar marches will be organized in 20 cities of America. It will also march in New York’s Times Square and San Francisco’s Golden Bridge. Solidarity marches will also be organized in Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Columbus and St. Louis. Modi’s visit to America is going to be historic and the Indian community is feeling proud of it. All sections of the Indian community in America have joined hands to make this visit a memorable one.
